afternoonsnoozebutton: My favorite view of DC, taken from the top of the Capitol Hill dome (literally, right at the feet of Lady Liberty). It’s a beautiful view, but getting up there is bloody murder. You have to walk up 442 very steep steps, and you must be accompanied by a member of Congress. That aside, it’s a very pretty view.
